I have found so far out of all the networking gear whether wireless or wired, Netgear just makes the best stuff and this PCI adapter is no exception.

I have my desktop set up a mere 40 feet from the router. My computer will show in the hardware settings that the router is putting out a full 5 bars of signal, but this adapter is only operating at 2 bars AT BEST at any time. Occasionally I will have 4 bars, but only for a short time and never a full 5 like I should have.
